Description

The AP5-P (MAC5K / ZF5K / POF5K) 3-Position FRT Trigger Housing is engineered to provide a rigid, precisely aligned interface for forced-reset trigger operation on short-length AP5-P platforms (AP5 / MAC5 / ZF5 / POF5), an MP5K-pattern firearm manufactured by MKE and imported by Century Arms.

The housing body is printed from carbon-fiber–reinforced ABS, selected for its balance of strength, heat resistance, and dimensional stability. Compared to standard polymer housings, carbon fiber reinforcement significantly reduces flex under load while maintaining a lightweight profile—critical for consistent selector engagement and repeatable trigger behavior on short-stroke K-length systems.

To reinforce high-stress areas, dual metal plates are integrated at the fire control group (FCG) interface, adding rigidity and helping ensure precise internal alignment over extended use. This reinforcement is especially important on AP5-P platforms due to their reduced bolt travel and tighter operating window.

This K / SK configuration does NOT use a buffer or buffer tube, as short-length MP5-pattern receivers are designed to operate without a traditional buffer system. An MP5 trip is included, completing the system interface.
